Net Impact DFW VERY SAD NEWS: The Demeter Project and It's a Grind are closing this Friday, Oct. 7

With a very heavy heart, we are very sad to report that The Demeter Project and It's a Grind will be closing their doors this Friday, Oct. 7. It's a Grind will close its Deep Ellum doors at 6 p.m. on Friday.

And of course, because of this very unfortunate turn of events, the Oct. 15 event we had scheduled with Serena Simmons Connelly and Amy Fauss of The Demeter Project and It's a Grind is cancelled.

Mitch Fine A salute to one of my heroes...Ray Anderson

One of my heroes, Ray Anderson, Founder and CEO of Interface Carpet, the largest commercial carpeting manufacturer in the world, passed away this week.  He is my primary inspiration for what I do.  Although the Corporation has done great damage to our planet, I believe, as Ray did, that this is the only institution that has the ability to make things right.
