Happy 2012! This year marks Net Impact's 20th anniversary, and to celebrate, we're introducing a brand new look. The organization has grown into a global network of more than 280 local chapters like ours, creating a worldwide community of changemakers. Vibrant and bold, our new logo embodies this community, and signifies the continued impact we all make through the work we do!
Learn more about Net Impact at 2 and the new look here.
Net Impact has more than 20,000 members in its 280 chapters around
the world, and the breakdown looks like this:
For professional chapters:
66% work in for-profits companies
16% work for not-for-profits
10% work in education or the public sector
73% of Fortune 100 companies employ Net Impact members
98% of the Top 50 MBA Schools have Net Impact chapters
In addition to a new look, Net Impact will be rolling out improved services for Supporting Members (annual paid membership) such as the new online member network designed to help members expand connections globally, share ideas and stay plugged into the issues they care most about. When you combine the local connections you make through Net Impact DFW with the global ones available to you through the Net Impact online global member network, we like to refer to that as our GLOCAL advantage!
In addition to a complete professional profile and advanced member search options, there also is the added benefit of the brand new Member Mail feature, now in live beta mode, which allows Net Impacters to message each other across the network without having to publicly share an email address.
If you are a paid Supporting Member, to get started with the new online member network and Member Mail, just log into your account and update your profile, where you can a photo, your bio, latest work experience or education. Then search the directory and look for the "Contact via Member Mail" button on each member's profile.
If you are interested in becoming a Supporting Member of the Net Impact DFW chapter, you can get more information here.
