TEDx and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have teamed up for a special new project,
TEDxChange, that marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the eight Millennium Development Goals set out by the United Nations to tackle global issues such as poverty, child mortality and disease.
Convened by Melinda French Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and featuring talks by some of the world's most inspired thinkers and doers. TEDxChange will look at what changes have taken place in the last decade, and what more needs to be done to ensure the health and well-being of future generations.
On Sept. 20, there will be a live webcast of the TEDxChange event featuring Melinda French Gates and TED Curator Chris Anderson. The World Affairs Council of Dallas and TEDxSMU have teamed up to host a luncheon that features the live webcast, and a moderated discussion after. Here is more information about the Dallas program and a special message from Melinda French Gates.
