Come join in all of the activities at the collaborative
Green Day for Good Causes event taking place Saturday, Jan. 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at White Rock Crossing in East Dallas. In addition to being able to learn from a group of Green practitioners sharing their collective wealth of knowledge about what's going in the Dallas' Green community, you also will be able to support three local charities:
Genesis Women's Shelter, the North Texas Food Bank and East Dallas Pet Orphanage. Green Day will be held at
White Rock Crossing is located at 700 Easton Dallas, TX 75218, and is sponsored by
Green Home Residential and
AndersonSargent.
In addition, your old, unused electronics can be recycled through an E-Waste company onsite! And Brinks Document Destruction will also be there to shred sensitive paperwork.
The event is open to the public and there is no admission charge. There will be a nominal fee depending on the type of e-waste that is recycled and the type/amount of document shredding.
